LEGAL EMPRESS prompted the issue up front while in the two path, engaged the leader in the second turn, put that one away as the runner up was challenging on the outside in upper stretch, dueled to the wire, proved best in a game effort. KINZIE QUEEN broke slowly, lacked early foot, advanced into contention four wide late in the second turn, challenged outside the winner upper stretch, continued on equal terms with that rival to the wire, outfinished. CALIFORNIA SUNSET settled in the two path, moved closer while between the top two turning for home, proved no match for that pair to the wire, remained clear for the show. ENSORCELL forwardly placed inside, rank first turn, steadied repeatedly while under a stout hold up the backstretch, came up empty for the drive. SPANKERBOOM broke alertly, set the pace along the inside, faltered in the stretch. VANILLA hopped at the start to be off slowly, remained always back while racing toward the inside. ENCHANTING was finished after five furlongs while racing three wide. FLASH WEAR stumbled at the start, was no threat while three to four wide.
