BERTIE'S CAUSE outrun in the early going off the inside, swung five wide into the stretch, finished full of run to win going away while remaining well out in the strip. BACKED BY GOLD in mid pack while outside, came four wide and inside the winner turning for home, bump, bothered upper stretch by a lugging CANKTON'S COWGIRL, up late for the place. SHE'S STORMING closest to the leader up the backstretch in the two path, continued to chase into the lane, shifted out, no match winner, caught late for the place. LADY OF DEVON one paced off the inside, continued in the two path into the stretch, improved a bit late while not posing a serious threat. KITIARA broke on top, quickly sprinted clear to set the pace, maintained daylight through the stretch, weakened late then was not persevered with in the final to strides to lose an additional spot. CHARMONTE last away, trailed for five furlongs then picked off a couple of faltering rivals after the issue had been decided. CANKTON'S COWGIRL in the second flight three wide, lugged out and bumped the runner up with three sixteenths to run, rider lost whip a furlong out, gave way. THE PRINCESS SAYS in mid pack and inside, faded through the lane.
