WHERE'S RANDY five wide through most of the first turn back early, advanced four wide onto the backstretch, continued four wide into the far turn, moved to challenge while working his way to the three path, gained a narrow advantage inside the furlong grounds between horses, lugged out twice late to bother POINT BLANK then held that foe and REVEILLE VALLEY safe late. REVEILLE VALLEY set the early pace just off the inside, got briefly clear into the far turn, continued to do battle while closest to the rail of the first flight past the furlong marker, could not get to WHERE'S RANDY LATE while narrowly holding off POINT BLANK at the wire. POINT BLANK in tight at the break to be away slowly, raced well back for five furlongs, big move five wide into contention second turn, came four wide for the drive, challenged outside past the furlong marker, bothered twice late by a lugging WHERE'S RANDY, continued with resolve to the finish to narrowly miss the second spot. DOUBLECHECK bobbled, bumped and pinched to also be off slowly, raced well back, made a five wide move behind POINT BLANK out of the final turn, slowly closing the gap on that one late. CLEAR ECHO behind the pace just off the inside, in some traffic into the far turn, went evenly through the stretch in lacking a closing. STORM STRATEGY ducked out at the start to bother a couple of outer rivals, lacked speed, came four wide for the drive, bettered position without posing a serious threat. OUTLAW RUN lacked speed while four wide through the first turn, continued in mid pack, four to five wide through the second bend, one paced through the lane. STUCK N SNOW in the main group while off the inside, traffic late in the final turn, failed to muster a rally when clear for the drive. TO TOO TWENTYTWO forwardly placed while three wide, continued in striking position second turn, yielded through the lane. GEE NO HOLLANDER lacked early foot toward the rail, fell back to trail into the second turn, no factor. HOLUS BOLUS four wide in the first turn, in some traffic with three quarters to run, began to fade after a half. MONEYSTRIKE prompted the issue up front for almost six furlongs along the inside, stopped. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY REGARDING THE RUN THROUGH LATE STRETCH AND A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDER OF POINT BLANK AGAINST WHERE'S RANDY FOR INTERFERENCE, THE LATTER WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST AND PLACED THIRD.
