ALOHA BABY in the second flight up the backstretch in the two path, tipped out four wide late in the turn, engaged the leader from the outside nearing the furlong marker, wore that one down under firm handling. CHAPTER AND VERSE vied up front while three wide early, dueled turn, disposed of that foe when straightened for home, responded when challenged by the winner with a furlong to run, gave ground grudgingly to that foe. UNION DAME in mid pack while saving ground, continued along the inside through the turn, staged a mild rail rally to be clear of the others, not a serious threat to the top pair. FOXY'S HONOR with the early pace inside, fell back off the other speed turn, moved out for the drive, went evenly to the wire. MOENCHANTED with the pace while between horses up the backstretch, dueled turn inside the runner up, weakened through the stretch. LINE RUNNER off a step slow, raced back outside, four wide through the turn, failed to muster a rally through the lane. SIMPLE DREAMS went one paced from two to three path. DARETOCATCHLOVE off a step slow, void of speed, improved a bit while five wide into the stretch, flattened out. OUR SPECIAL GIFT fell back to trail after the start, four wide turning for home, not a threat in the drive. RANCH REBEL was never involved while racing toward the inside. SYDNEY'S JOY veered out at the start, mid pack and three wide, stopped.
