WITHOUT OBJECTION broke well, narrowly set the pace from along the inside, continued to hold a small advantage into the stretch, long stretch duel, dug in late to narrowly prevail in a game effort. MR PUK pressed the issue up the backstretch while between horses, dueled out of the turn and into the stretch, extended duel, outkicked late. PRINCIPE CARLO behind the pace while along the inside, waited and was covered up and boxed throughout the turn, continued in traffic with a furlong to run, shifted out but was unable to close the gap on the top pair late. SUMMER SPLASH in the second flight while racing outside, crept a bit closer to the lead pack late in the turn, lost some ground to the top two as a result and was also unable to do much with the top two through the lane. COUNT DE MONET fell back to trail after the start, continued to lack speed in the two path through the turn, failed to respond in the drive. HEY EUGENE pressured the pace from the three path for a half and gave way. WIND OF CHANGE (BRZ) in mid pack while racing off the rail, had little for the drive. DRIFTER remained always back.
