HAYES STRIKE in the second flight while in the two path, asked for some run midway on the final turn, split foes then angled out into the three path entering the stretch, dueled to the wire, finished with good determination to narrowly prevail in game fashion. WILLY D'S closest to the early leader, joined that one from the outside, after a quarter, put that rival away late in the final turn under a light hold, encouraged along into the stretch as the winner came calling, raced on equal terms to the wire inside that one, just missed. AMERICAN LAW in the second flight while three wide, closer turning into the stretch, set down, lacked a winning kick, well clear of the others. PATS PROPERTY broke on top, showed the way into the first turn, dueled up the backstretch inside the runner up, could not keep up with that one entering the stretch, continued to weaken. WHAT'S UP DOC off a step slow, raced back and outside, four wide for the drive, some some mild late interest to improve position. ELUSIVE TARGET one paced, went one paced throughout. ETHEREAL ROAD settled in mid pack while racing just off the inside, made little impact. OVIATT CLASS off slowly, remained always back. ARDANWOOD off slow, finished after five furlongs, well back.
