Footnotes
MONEY GAME hopped at the break to be off slow, well back for five furlongs, five wide into the far turn, advanced while remaining widest through that bend, reached the front into the lane then wore that one down under firm handling. SUPER CRUISE also was away tardy, raced well back, moved out five wide late backstretch, circled to the front with an eye opening move, took over while moving inside, dueled with winner inside that one, brushed the rail twice the final furlong while giving ground grudgingly to that one. SOLE LUTE is another who broke slowly, void of speed outside, four to five wide through the second turn, rallied to be clear for the show, no threat to the top two. CAN'T STOP WILLIS settled off the pace just off the rail, idled in traffic midway on the second turn, came three wide for the drive, went evenly in the drive. LEBOMBO back off the early pace, moved closer while four wide through the final turn, lacked a further bid in the drive. RIPPED pressed the pace while off the inside, had little for the stretch run. LAMBO away in good order, set a pressured pace along the inside, began to weaken when headed by the winner midway on the final turn. AMBITION settled in mid pack while off the inside, three wide far turn, asked along, lacked a significant closer response while inside of horses into the lane. INTO THIN AIR saved ground to no avail in lacking a rally. GRAND ORACLE angled in steadily after racing four wide into the first turn, rode the rail up the backstretch, waited behind horses along the rail midway on the second turn then came up empty when clear for the drive. ALPHA OMEGA within striking distance for a half, stopped just before six furlongs in the three path, jogged in.
