Footnotes
CRUSHED ICE pressed the pacesetter from the three path up the backstretch, vied for the lead while in hand from the two path entering the far turn, was cued approaching the three-sixteenths pole, held command at the top of the shortened lane and forged clear. WHAT'S TO DO settled in the two path around the first turn, chased from the four path up the backstretch, improved under a drive in the three path around the far turn, and ran on while back in the four path down the short stretch for place. SHE'S STORMING set a contested pace from off the rail turning into the backstretch, lost the lead while coming under pressure early around the far turn, fought on from the rail turning into the lane, but got out-finished by an outer pair to show. LEGALLY LUCKY was wellback in the four path, driven in the three path around the far turn, swung from the five path into the lane, and finished evenly. CHASING SHADOWS raced off the pace in the three path, was ridden between foes in the two path around the far turn, but made no impact. CLEARLY CREEPS rated along the rail, came under pressure early around the far turn, but did not factor. ST. ALBANS RAID was up close in the three path around the first turn, stalked from there up the backstretch, angled to the rail entering the far turn, but weakened. MAKEMEBELIEVE bobbled at the start, tracked in the two path early but retreated approaching the far turn, then was eased thru the stretch.
