NA PALI JOE laid up close in the four path up the backstretch, was cued to bid from the three path midway around the far turn, took the lead at the top of the lane, and drew clear. MOR CHEESE PLEASE dictated the pace while just off the rail, was roused from the rail when challenged midway around the far turn, could not keep up with the runaway winner down the stretch, but kept on to hold place. MY RUSSIAN tracked in the two path, was driven around the far turn, and finished evenly for show. GOLDEN CITY STREET steadied inside early, then was held up along the inside entering the backstretch, improved under a ride in the three path around the far turn, but lacked a final bid. RUN LOUIE RUN tracked in the three path but made no closing bid. FLEETWOOD JACK raced towards the back of the pack in the three path, was driven in the two path around the far turn, but made no impact. TARTARIAN raced in midpack from the two path, was driven around the far turn, but weakened. STORM BACK raced off the pace in the three path but did not factor. ROKU NANA was wellback in the two path and never menaced. DOYOUHEARME checked along the rail early, was behind in the four path and could never get involved.
