SHARP SWINGER chased inside, was driven from the rail around the turn, cut the corner turning into the lane, kicked on to bid passing the furlong grounds, and drew clear of outer rivals in the final sixteenth. CARBONE showed the way in the three path, was cued in the two path midway around the turn, dug in from the four path down the stretch, got overtaken by the winner just after the eighth pole, but held place. DIVE BOMBER raced off the three path, was driven around the far turn, and kept on to get up for show late. LINZER pressed in the four path, bid under a ride passing the quarter, swung from the five path into the lane, but flattened.
