Footnotes
COWAN broke out, raced with the pace in the two path, dueled turn, shook off the other speed to be clear into the stretch, maintained daylight to the wire while being kept to task. ELUSIVE D'ORO back off the pace along the inside, steered out into the two path turning for home, moved out a bit more and rallied from between horses to be in time for the place. MID DAY IMAGE forwardly placed along the inside, in traffic into the turn, chased the winner in upper stretch, caught for the place, saved show. LARRY'S LEGEND forwardly placed outside, four wide through the turn, went one paced through the lane, not enough for the show. HUSKER BUTCH turned in an even effort while four to six wide late in the turn. LUV TO WIN raced in mid pack off the inside, bothered in some traffic late in the turn, went evenly down the lane. CANE CREEK ROAD dueled up front outside for the winner, first to blink late in the turn, continued to fade through the lane. WORTH LOOKING broke back and failed to menace. ALTO ROAD tired while racing three out to four wide. DERBY DATE was not a factor while racing four wide. TRIKITRAKI was always outrun. CAPTAIN JACK off slow, trailed throughout.
