THREE YEARS OLD WHICH WERE BRED IN ARKANSAS AND QUALIFY UNDER THE RULES GOVERNING SAME. By subscription of $300 each, which shall have been paid to the A.T.B.H.A. by December, 31 of their yearling year. $500 to enter and $1,000 to start. $150,000 guaran teed (of which A.T.B.H.A. would furnish $75,000) after paying 2.5% of original purse to the owners of horses finishing 6th through last, 60% of the remaining purse will be paid to owner(s) of the winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 6% to fourth and 4% t o fifth. WEIGHT: 122 lbs. Non-winners of $50,000 allowed 3 lbs.; $35,000 allowed 5 lbs.; $25,000 allowed 7 lbs. Starters to be named through the entry box at time of closing. THERE IS NO SPLIT PROVISION. If the number entering exceeds the starting g ate capacity, the number to start will be determined under RULE 2258 of the Arkansas State Racing Commission's Rules of Racing, by the Stewards and by horses that have accumulated the highest earnings. No Owner can start more than one horse to the exclu sion of a single entry. Supplementary nominations may be made by the closing time of entries at a fee of $2,500. LORD OF RHYMES in the second flight while between horses up the backstretch, fell back in some traffic turn, tipped out three wide in upper stretch, bid, took over, held runner up safe late under firm handling. GETTINBY broke back, moved out while lacking speed, four to five wide through the turn, set down mid track, slowly getting to the winner late. ROCK SOLO broke in, settled behind the pace inside the winner, angled out in front of that one to challenge late in the turn, vied past midstretch then was outkicked late by the top two. HICKO off a step slow, raced back while inside, continued to save ground through the turn, traffic upper, moved back to the inside and showed some mild interest to the wire. MAX DOT SOCKS fell back to trail just after the start, continued to lag backstretch, asked along far turn, came in the two path for the drive and displayed some belated interest to improve position. A P RULY away in good order, dueled up front in the two path for a half and faltered. SWEET FANTASY broke alertly, helped set the pace along the inside for four furlongs and also weakened when the real running began at the head of the lane. WAR MULE forwardly placed outside, four wide through the turn, gave way in upper stretch, jogged in.
