EUCLID AVENUE away in good order from along the inside, set the pace, continued to show the way through the final turn in the two path, slight drift stretch, edged clear late. DEFLATER forwardly placed in the two path, chased the two leaders into the far turn, closer while dropping to the rail late in the final turn, closest a furlong out, could not get to the winner late, held the place. MIGHTY MESSAGE in the second flight through the first turn three wide, continued outside up the backstretch and into the far turn, lodged a brief bid four wide turning for home, flattened out, not enough late for the second spot. J T'S IMAGINATION broke back, void of speed in trailing for five furlongs, asked along three wide far turn, found best stride too late through the lane while racing through then outside of traffic. LOGICAL MYTH hopped at the start to be away a step slow, moved up to mid pack while just off the inside, advanced second turn, failed to sustain that advance through the lane. SITTIN ON GO broke back, lacked speed, turned in an even effort while three out to four wide. CANDY FOR CARMEL devoid of speed while racing just off the inside, made little impact when the real running began at the head of the lane. HELLO HOT ROD pressured the winner from the outside for six furlongs, gave way entering the stretch. JAY VEE BEE in mid pack while moving inside first turn, continued to save ground while moving closer midway on the second, in some traffic soon after, had nothing left. PATCH O'BRIEN four wide in the first turn, continued outside and began to fade while four wide once again the far bend.
