Footnotes
AWESOME AARON broke alertly, pressed early, dueled into and through the final turn, shook off the other speed entering the stretch, drew off steadily while only being shown a right handed crop to win ridden out. BADDEST GOOD BOY in tight start, raced back off the pace just off the rail, angled out to be four wide when beginning to move late in the final turn, finished willingly to be second best, no threat to the winner. WILLY D'S in the second flight outside, three wide when moving closer second turn, chased the winner through upper stretch, also had little for that one the final furlong, caught for the place. UNLOAD chased the dueling leaders off the inside, traffic late in the final turn, went evenly through the lane when clear. LAT LONG in the second flight along the inside, closest to the two leaders final turn while continuing along the rail, came up empty for the stretch drive. RECKER POINT dueled up front while closest to the inside, continued on equal terms with the winner through the second bend, faltered entering the stretch. ONTHESTAGE last to leave, failed to menace off the rail. UNDERHILL'S TAB broke out, was never a factor.
