Footnotes
ROCKET SANDERS in the second flight up the backstretch, moved closer three wide late in the turn, saw that progress stall through upper stretch, late push to be up at the wire. LANDLORD broke well, tired to get out while showing the way early in the two path, dueled along the rail turn, continued to hold the lead into the stretch, extended that advantage with a furlong to run, nailed in the final strides. KING PEANUT behind the pace along the inside, bit closer behind some traffic late in the turn and into the stretch, proved no match for the top two the final furlong. GREAT BARRIER last to leave, raced back off the pace three wide, displayed a mild amount of interest while not a serious threat. DINNER AT CRUMPIES void of early foot, picked off a couple of tiring rivals after the issue had been decided. CLASSY SOCKS with the pace outside the runner up early, dueled with that rival through the turn, gave way from between the top two entering the stretch. I'M AN OAK remained always back in failing to threaten.
