STIGLETS pressed the issue early three wide, vied while continuing in the three path through the turn, long duel, dug in late while between horses at the wire. FANATICAL away in good order, contested the pace between horses through the turn, extended stretch duel inside the winner, outkicked by that one in the final strides while narrowly lasting for the place. FAUST forwardly placed early along the inside, continued to track the first flight while saving some ground turn, steered three wide into the lane, steadily closing the gap on the top two while outside that pair at the wire. THIRTEEN G'S settled on the outside behind the lead pack, four wide into the stretch, lacked a closing kick. SPORTS HERO off a step slow, raced back and outside, four wide out of the turn, improved a bit through upper stretch then went evenly the final furlong. ENERGIZE went one paced while racing three wide. TOWN HERO in tight then steadied at the break, trailed for a half, picked off a few tiring rivals after the issue had been decided. SEPTIMUS broke in, helped tighten up a couple of inner rivals, raced back and inside, two path into the lane, remained back. IMPROBABLE LUCK broke alertly, showed the way up the backstretch inside, gave way when headed by the top two late in the turn. FLAWLESS BEAST in tight, steadied at the start, mid pack toward the inside, had nothing for the drive.
