LAST DIAMOND closest to the leader outside that one, advanced and challenged into the lane, drew clear late under steady handling. WARTIME HERO behind the pace just off the inside, closer in the two path into the lane to be closest to the winner with less than a furlong to run, could not match strides with that one late, saved the place. TALKLESSWORKMORE lost footing at the start to race back early, moved out, closer four wide final turn, vied for the second spot late, not enough. J T'S IMAGINATION lacked speed off the inside, bothered slightly by a stricken foe with a half mild remaining, three wide through the final turn, improved position slightly while not a serious threat. FROST ALERT took over after the start, showed the way into and through the first turn inside, continued to set the pace up the backstretch, weakened when headed by the winner upper stretch. JIM NED within striking distance while three wide, lacked a closing response. ICE AGAIN off a step slow, failed to make an impact while remaining always back. QUICK BUCK in mid pack early, gave way after a half. COLOSI in the main body while off the inside, shortened stride in apparent distress after a half, pulled up, left the track via equine ambulance.
