Footnotes
LADY ASTRID back off the pace, three to four wide through the turn, shifted out a bit when straightened for home, floated out by SUMMORYA late, up in time to prove best in determined fashion. SUMMER SHOES pressed the early leader from the outside, advanced and put a head in front turning for home, shook clear past the furlong marker, nailed in the late going. SUMMORYA in mid pack early outside, moved closer four wide through the turn, raced with the winner past the furlong marker, came out to carry that same rival out in deep stretch as the runner up was drifting, not enough late while between the top two. MILLIE G broke alertly, vied early while between horses, fell back a bit off the lead pack through the turn, went evenly through the lane in lacking a late punch. ONE WAY OR ANOTHER set or forced the pace toward the inside, weakened in the two path upper stretch. PETIT JEAN lacked early foot off the rail, in some traffic then waited early turn, continued behind horses through the bend, shifted out slightly for the drive, displayed a mild amount of late interest while not a threat. COURAGEOUS CAPPEN within striking distance along the inside, traffic into the turn, backed up stretch. LITTLE BURRITO broke in the air to spot the field several lengths, trailed throughout well back.
