MY NOBLE KNIGHT settled off the pace, moved closer in traffic in the two path late second turn, remained toward the inside upper stretch,atlered course sharply to the inside with a furlong to run, outside bid, dueled to the wire, proved narrowly best in determined fashion. PALM TREE forwardly placed from the start, vied between horses the middle half, shook clear when straightened for home, responded when the winner came calling in deep stretch, proved stubborn to miss. IMPERIAL GUN six wide into the first turn, five wide exiting, remained outside, four wide when beginning to advance second turn, mild rally to be up late for the show while not a threat to the top two. MYRA'S BOY off a step slow, raced back, continued back up the backstretch, closer in some traffic in the two path late in the final bend, improved into the stretch inside of several rivals, flattened out the final furlong. RECKER POINT with the pace while three wide, continued to contest the issue for six furlongs, weakened in the drive. FIRST BID fell back to trail after the start, three wide through the first turn, four to five wide second bend, improved position while not a serious threat. SPOILER four wide first turn, three wide through the second turn when well back, lacked a serious response. BETTYS CASH clear through the first turn inside, vied the middle half, gave way along the rail late in the final turn. INEXORABLE void of speed while inside, continued to lag and save ground up the backstretch, steadied behind a tiring rival into the far turn, fell further back to trail, passed some tiring rivals while never a serious threat. HERN steadied past the wire the first time, moved up to race behind the first flight, gave way after a half. PLAUSIBLE DENILE four wide through the first turn, raced in mid pack, had nothing for the drive. DICK BEST bobbled at the start, was used to move up five wide through the first turn, gave way in the second while also five wide.
