Footnotes
AUTHENTIC CAT unhurried in the early going, began to advance under some pressure midway on the final turn while off the inside, briefly raced in traffic a quarter out before dropping to the rail got through, reeled in the leader after moving back out nearing midstretch, took over just inside the furlong marker and drove clear. QUALITY AMI within striking distance off the inside, continued to stalk the middle half, between horses turning for home while outside the winner, could not keep up with that one to the wire, up late for the place. SISSY SOX broke on top, showed the way along the inside into the first turn, continued to set the pace while under slight restraint up the backstretch, offered brief resistance to the winner past the furlong marker then relented, continued to weaken and was caught for the place. COLD CASE four wide into the first turn, dropped into the three path soon after, continued to race outside in the second flight, came four wide again out of the final bend, lacked a closing kick. JOLLY JOLENE broke in a tangle then took an awkward stride to spot the field several lengths, continued to trail, improved by picking off a couple of rivals on the outside without posing a serious threat. MY GLENDA FAYE broke back, failed to menace while three wide into the stretch. JACKIE BLUE a bit slow to settle in the first turn, chased the leader for six furlongs then gave way in the second turn.
