Footnotes
MONEY RUN broke well, dueled past the wire the first time, shook clear in the two path backstretch, breather far turn, rebroke when straightened for home and maintained a comfortable advantage the final furlong under steady handling. KEEN CAT settled off the pace just off the inside, in some traffic when moving a bit closer late backstretch, angled out and moved closest three wide turning into the stretch, could not match the winner the final furlong. D DAY REUNION in mid pack and off the rai, three wide final turn, rallied to be clear of the others, no match for the top pair. MY NOBLE KNIGHT four wide with the main body in the first turn, moved slightly closer while four wide again in the second bend, failed to sustain that advance through the final furlong. THE THUNDERER back off the early pace inside, fell back in some traffic while continuing toward the inside second bend, improved slightly, no real threat. HUGE BIGLY turned in a one paced effort off the inside. LEMON DROP SHOT broke back, continued to lag for over three quarters off the inside, improved position with some belated interest. HOODLUM angled to the inside first turn, continued to save ground while going one paced throughout. ICARUS last away, remained back while picking off a couple of tiring rivals. DYNAMIS forwardly placed while in the three path, gave way in the drive. BOURBON LIFE was never a factor. SWISS GUARD broke alertly, dueled inside the winner early, chased that one backstretch then stopped in the far turn.
