DIRTY RICH broke running, showed the way up the backstretch and into the turn in the two path, shook off a foe turning into the stretch from the outside, shook well clear with a furlong to run, held the runner up safe late under steady handling. BOCA BEACH CLUB lacked early foot, angled out four wide turning into the stretch, lost some ground to the winner as a result, slowly getting to that one late while holding sway for the place. SPUN D M C last to leave, moved up to race in the second group outside, four wide into the turn, ranged up three wide outside the winner to lodge a brief bid into the stretch, failed to sustain that effort in the run to the wire. STRONG POTENTIAL void of speed outside, three wide in the turn, staged a mild rally to better position while not a serious threat. GANAAS within striking distance in the three path, worked way to the rail by late in the turn, came up empty in the run to the wire. CHAD ALLAN raced back, in traffic behind horses into the lane, failed to rally when clear. WALTER THE MASON broke in, moved out off the rail, chased for three furlongs and began to stop.
