Footnotes
FIRST DIVISION stalked the two leaders for six furlongs toward the inside, steered out three wide when advancing second turn, bid, took over, clear a furlong out, extended drive, proved best. DANCE SOME MO in mid pack and off the inside, came three wide while being asked into the lane, rallied and was steadily getting to the winner. SUPER CRUISE off a step slow, raced in some traffic first turn, made a nice move four wide into contention midway on the final turn then flattened out in the drive. CAPO LUCA off a step slow, trailed early as a result, continued to lack speed into the far turn, angled out four wide turning for home, staged a belated rally to finish up willingly. LA HOULIGAN back off the pace and the inside, fanned five wide into the stretch, flattened out in the drive. MYRA'S BOY off a step slow, moved up to race in mid pack, turned in an even effort. WHAT'S UP DOC off a step slow, raced back, continued well back far turn, improved position with some belated interest. UNCLE CAESAR in the second flight off the inside, four wide into the lane, gave way in the drive. CRISIS MANAGER four wide in the first turn had little for the drive. CAUGHT OFF GUARD in some traffic between horses in the first turn, remained always back. HEAVENVILLE away in good order, set the pace four six furlongs then gave way when confronted late in the final turn. MIDNIGHT WEST broke sharp, pressed the leader off the inside for three quarters and stopped.
