Footnotes
BALLROOM EYES prompted the pace outside THE FEISTY ONE, held a short lead between horses mid way on the far turn, battled inside MY DEAR ANTONIA to the eighth pole then drew off under brisk urging. MY DEAR ANTONIA , three wide the first turn, stalked the pace outside horses down the backstretch, advanced three deep on the far turn, challenged for the lead mid way on the final bend, weakened and lugged in near the sixteenth pole. THE FEISTY ONE showed speed, saved ground on both turns and weakened. ITS SATISFACTUAL , three wide entering the first turn, stalked the pace behind horses down the backstretch, moved to the three path leaving the far turn and gave way. BUZZAWAY , taken to the inner rail entering the first turn, remained along the rail on the turns and gave way.
