YACOWLEF (IRE) trailed along the inside into the turn, advanced from the fence around the bend, angled out into the lane, rallied three deep into the final furlong, put a head in front at the sixteenth pole and inched away from REXFORD in deep stretch. REXFORD settled off the rail, went three wide into the turn, angled to the five path then chased three wide into the stretch, rallied in tandem with YACOWLEF (IRE) but was bested by that rival in the late stages. CARIBBEAN KING broke through the gate and was brought back around quickly to reload, chased from inside, tipped two wide at the quarter pole, challenged outside the leader at the top of the stretch, put a head in front at the eighth pole but yielded to the top pair in deep stretch. NEON LIGHTS (IRE) grabbed the early lead and moved over, set the pace from inside to the stretch, took pressure from CARIBBEAN KING at the top of the lane, lost command at the eighth pole and flattened to fourth. INVINCIBLE was forwardly placed four deep, bumped into the turn, moved into the two path exiting the bend and faded out of contention. BLUE CHEESE OLIVE bumped repeatedly up the backstretch with outer rival while forwardly placed, dropped back two wide on the turn, moved inward in the lane and weakened. TEQUILA TALKIN bumped repeatedly with BLUE CHEESE OLIVE up the backstretch, bumped with outer rival into the turn, started to weaken in the three path around the bend and tired.
