GEM MINE broke well and established early position, pressed the pace from outside up the backstretch, headed the leader at the five-sixteenths pole, seized control with a quarter mile remaining, showed the way into the final furlong and edged away from the runner-up. JAI HO stalked the pacesetter outside rivals, took aim three wide around the turn, chased within striking distance down the lane, could not summon the needed late kick but stayed on to secure second. CORPORAL VIOLETTE (IRE) stalked between rivals then two wide around the bend, drifted to the rail under right handed urging and finished evenly late. AUDITORY traveled in mid-pack and steered across to the inside, shifted to the two path at the quarter pole and improved position. BOLD CHOICE settled well off the rail then outside a rival, chased two then three wide on the turn and lacked a rally. AMELIA BLEU went up to take control and showed the way early under pressure from the winner, was headed by that rival at the five-sixteenths pole, yielded past the quarter pole and weakened down the lane. MOONLIGHT TRYST traveled near the early on, navigated the turn along the rail then in the two path, steered out in the lane and was never a factor. SABRES raced outside a rival at the back, took the turn two wide, asked right handed into the lane and never got involved. SMOOTH AS BUTTER unhurried in the beginning, saved ground through the turn and was never a factor. ROSIE FORECAST stalked the top pair along the inside into the turn, hugged the rail to the stretch and weakened.
