SHARP RIDE stalked well off the rail, ridden along four wide on the turn, challenged four deep in upper stretch, took over past the eighth pole under strong handling, then kicked clear midstretch and won going away. ISABEL LUDLOW chased briefly then went up to duel from inside while taking a slim lead, inched ahead from CHEEKY GAL entering the lane, overtaken by SHARP RIDE past the eighth pole and stayed on to secure second. STELLAR CAP chased the top pair from off the rail, went three wide around the turn, challenged three deep approaching the stretch and flattened in the late stages. CHEEKY GAL stepped to the front then dueled outside ISABEL LUDLOW up the backstretch, fought two wide through the turn, failed to kick on with the leaders approaching the eighth pole and weakened late. SOLID TUNE threw her head and came away well behind the field, trailed along the inside into the turn, moved into the two path past the five-sixteenths pole and passed a weakening rival in the lane. SAPADILLA hustled from the gate then climbed a bit early when hit with kickback, lost ground chasing from the rail on the turn and faded. THERE WAS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INVOLVING THE START OF SOLID TUNE AND RULED THAT SHE CAUSED HER OWN PROBLEMS AT THE START AND IS CONSIDERED A STARTER.
