THIRTY FOUR COUPE tracked three then two wide around the first turn, coaxed forward three deep leaving the backstretch, took aim three then two wide around the far turn, latched onto the leader midstretch and wore down the runner-up. SO I'M TOLD cleared quickly and moved inside, controlled the pace up the backstretch, felt some pressure at the three-eighths pole and inched away again on the far turn, remained clear to upper stretch, confronted by THIRTY FOUR COUPE in the final furlong and could not fend off the winner despite finishing gamely to the wire. TRUSTY RUSTY settled inside, trailed in hand to the stretch, was mildly asked in the lane, came out to bother SUPERNAL late and got up for third. ANITANEWMERCEDES stalked from inside, drew closer leaving the backstretch, lacked a bid in the stretch and got edged for third. AURELIAN MAN reserved in the beginning and moved into the two path, went two then three wide around the far turn and lacked a rally. SUPERNAL was closest in pursuit from the two path, stalked outside a rival then between foes approaching the far turn, got put in tight at the three-eighths pole, weakened in the lane and got put in tight late. BEE CATCHER bobbled a bit at the start, unhurried from outside, took the first turn two then three wide, went outside a pair of rivals on the backstretch, chased three then four wide on the far turn, spun three wide into the lane and was never a factor.
