KID AZTECA settled towards the rear, gained in the two path on the turn before angling four wide past the quarter pole, closed in four deep in the lane, drew alongside PLAYER B at the sixteenth pole and drove clear. PLAYER B away quickly to grab the lead, showed the way along the rail through the turn, remained unchallenged into the final furlong, confronted by KID AZTECA at the sixteenth pole and yielded late. MAN CHILD stalked the pacesetter outside a rival, took aim two wide into the stretch, finished evenly between rivals and regained third late. ANDY CAN U HEAR ME stumbled leaving the gate, tracked two wide into the turn, eased out to the three path late on the bend, chased within striking distance down the lane but could not summon the needed late kick and lost the show honors. UNCLE JOHN stalked the pace from inside, moved out a bit in upper stretch and lacked a bid. RHYTHEM ON STAGE reserved to the back in the opening stages, moved to the inside, shifted to the two path to pass a weakening rival, spun four wide into the lane and lacked the needed rally. MISCHIEVOUS PADDY got crowded between rivals early, chased from inside off the pace, dropped back to last on the turn, ridden out through the lane, then was exhausted following the race and used the equine ambulance to be transported off the track.
