Footnotes
TAKE ANOTHER CARD stalked along the rail out of range early, moved into range and tipped two wide at the quarter pole, got bumped between rivals at the three-sixteenths pole, got forced out and bumped again past the eighth pole, recovered and dug in gamely to take over in the final fifty yards and held over MISO PHANSY in the closing moments. MISO PHANSY sat off the pace outside a rival, continued two wide into the far turn, swung five wide turning for home, rallied from outside but was outclosed by the winner. TEQUILAANDTHERAPY reserved in the early going and moved inside, took hold briefly at the seven-sixteenths pole, saved ground to the stretch, lacked room in upper stretch, then gained a clear path, surged along the fence and gained third. LESS IS MORE grabbed the early lead from inside, showed the way unchallenged to the far turn, took pressure approaching the five-sixteenths pole, lost command in upper stretch, regained the lead midstretch, brushed with WE THE HOBBY at the sixteenth pole and offered little resistance to the top trio late. CHILLY PHILLY steered to the inside while forwardly placed, coaxed along on the far turn but had to pause when boxed in behind the leader nearing the quarter pole, tipped out and bumped at the three-sixteenths pole, shifted out past the eighth pole, bid entering the final sixteenth but lacked the needed late punch. WE THE HOBBY was closest in pursuit while rated in the two path, challenged from outside on the far turn, put a head in front in upper stretch, gave the lead back to LESS IS MORE midstretch, brushed with LESS IS MORE in deep stretch and yielded. HEY JESSIE traveled two wide at the back early, raced three deep in the middle stages, continued three wide on the far turn, angled out and came six wide into the stretch, then offered a mild response down the lane. SUNSET GRAZEN bumped with outer rival leaving the gate, settled inside, ridden along through the far turn, rallied in the lane but got blocked late. MUSICAL NUMBER reserved in the two path, between rivals at the half-mile pole, coaxed two wide into the lane, was forced to alter in midstretch and could not rally after. IN THE AIR TONIGHT settled three then two wide on the first turn, gained three then four deep on the far turn, had to steady and alter out midstretch and also lacked a rally. PAVEL IS APPEALING stalked the pacesetter in the two path, loomed three wide leaving the far turn, got bumped at the top of the lane, was hit again midstretch and weakened. BIG SOIREE bumped with inner rival at the start, tucked inside at the back of the pack, went outside a rival at the half-mile pole, chased in the three path on the far turn, drifted in upper stretch and was never a factor.
