SHOCKING GREY stalked three wide outside rivals into the turn, challenged three deep across the dirt, took over in upper stretch, drove clear with a sixteenth remaining and inched away. STAY AND SCAM stalked the lone leader outside a rival into the turn, drew alongside the pacesetter with a quarter mile left to run, vied between rivals leaving the turn, took control briefly entering the stretch but relinquished the lead shortly after to SHOCKING GREY and stayed on through the final furlong to secure second. MOMENT'S PLEASURE stalked BARBERA from inside, chased two wide leaving the turn, stayed within striking distance down the stretch but finished evenly late. ELEGANT SWAY tracked two wide into the turn, three wide across the dirt, had the rider's crop break in upper stretch and could not produce a bid. SAFA broke a step slow, settled off the pace, traveled three then four wide around the turn and could not rally. ANDIAMO RAGAZZA came away slow, moved inside racing towards the rear, moved out across the dirt and failed to threaten. BARBERA sprinted clear from inside and set the pace in the early going, took pressure at the quarter pole, fought inside a pair of rivals leaving the dirt crossing, lost command entering the lane and gave way. QUANTUM INNERGY raced outside rivals at the back then trailed two wide into the turn, angled out past the quarter pole, came six wide into the lane and was never a factor.
