CHECK'S ON THE WAY vied for the lead between rivals then fought inside DAY AT THE TRACK to the turn, led in the two path early on the turn, overtaken at the five-sixteenths pole, battled back outside WESTERN FREEDOM, went head to head down the stretch and dug in late to edge the runner-up. WESTERN FREEDOM came in a bit to bother rivals in the beginning, raced up close from inside, took over at the five-sixteenths pole, dueled inside CHECK'S ON THE WAY down the stretch and got outgamed in deep stretch. DAY AT THE TRACK vied four then three deep early, could not keep up with inner rivals late on the bend, remained close through the stretch and finished well for a clear third. PAX A PUNCH showed early speed three deep between rivals then pause when DAY AT THE TRACK came over a bit, chased three wide around the bend and weakened in the drive while retaining a minor award. THE GYPSY COWBOY brushed leaving the gate, raced outside a rival then off the rail well off the pace, went two wide into the turn, split foes at the quarter pole and offered a mild response to improve position. SANTA BARBARIAN forwardly placed from outside, chased four wide around the bend and weakened in the lane. JENNYS TIZ got bumped and checked between rivals in the beginning, dropped far back, moved inside, angled out and came five wide into the stretch and improved position. DANCING DILLON sat off the pace and steered to the inside, got blocked at the quarter pole and tipped two wide into the clear and also improved. MARC THE MONEY MAN chased off the inside, lost ground four wide on the turn, moved out in upper stretch and weakened. OSCAR'S MARK chased from off the pace, navigated the turn three then four wide and failed to make an impact. CITIZEN BARRETT bumped with inner rival at the start then got crowded shortly after, went two wide then along the rail on the turn and had little left for the stretch run. PETRIFIED chased from inside, dropped back on the turn, eased in the furlong grounds and walked off.
