BLUE FASHION pressed the pace three deep then outside the leader up the backstretch, took over with a quarter mile remaining, cleared into the stretch, drew away in the final furlong and was ridden out to the wire. AFFAIR set the pace under pressure from outside, lost command at the quarter pole, yielded to the winner exiting the turn, then churned on down the lane for a clear second. I'M STILL IN IT brushed with inner rival at the start, settled off the pace, ridden along two then three wide on the turn and gained third. TOM'S STAR sat off the pace outside rivals, made some progress three then two wide around the bend, could not summon the needed rally and lost third. UNION HEIRESS broke cleanly but lacked early speed and dropped far back, lagged behind four wide into the turn, trailed five wide into the lane and passed tired rivals. NELLIE THURSDAY brushed with I'M STILL IN IT at the start, traveled inside rivals well off the pace, came under a ride saving ground on the turn, moved out in the lane and was never a factor. FLIGHT TO QUALITY (FR) pressed between briefly then chased the top pair up the backstretch, traveled along the rail on the turn and weakened.
