Footnotes
MR. LEASURE showed good early foot to take the front, crossed over to the inside, drew away under right handed urging and was kept busy to the wire. CRAZY CAVALIER brushed leaving the gate, stalked outside a pair of rivals into the turn, loomed three wide into the stretch, saw the winner kick away in upper stretch and stayed on to hold second. SAND BAGGER tracked four deep early then outside a rival, chased three wide around the bend, got bumped by inner rival at the top of the lane, kept trying through the drive but got outkicked for second. RUNNING SPARTAN scrambled slightly leaving the gate, bumped with inner rival twice shortly after, chased near the inside, drifted momentarily and steadied at the three-eighths pole, tipped out and bumped SAND BAGGER at the top of the stretch and could not produce a bid. ANNAN brushed leaving the gate, settled off the pace, pulled leaving the backstretch, traveled near the rail or two wide on the turn, moved out in the lane and improved position. MR FABRICATOR raced up close then had to pause when crowded a bit then again behind the leader nearing the turn, needed room when boxed in along the rail around the bend, cut corner into the stretch and weakened. ENGLISH ICON stalked between foes then outside a rival, took the turn two wide, chased in range entering the final furlong but weakened in the late stages. ARABIAN FLIRT bumped repeatedly then got put in tight between rivals early, trailed on the inside, swung out past the quarter pole and failed to make an impact. OCALA KID got bumped by outer rival shortly after the start, drifted into a rival and steadied early, saved ground along the inside and proved no menace. COME ON BUDDY got bumped repeatedly on both sides early, chased three wide off the pace into the turn, got carried wide past the quarter pole and had little left for the stretch run.
