Footnotes
CANDY'S WILDCAT stepped to the front then set the pace under pressure from ONE BIG SMILE in the opening stages, shook free from that rival and drew away on the turn, then remained clear to the wire despite drifting out. ONE BIG SMILE pressed from outside, lugged out around the bend, was still closest in pursuit entering the final furlong and finished willingly for a clear second. GALLOPING MAJOR stalked off the inside, went four wide into the turn, moved out to the five path then cut in and chased three deep into the lane and edged inner rivals for the show honors. MAJESTIC COTTON showed early speed then chased the top pair from inside, lost ground on the turn and could not rally in the drive. HOT GOBLIN broke out and bumped RUN BABA RUN, sat off the pace in the early going, chased three wide early on the bend then went between runners at the quarter pole, kept trying down the lane but needed to find more. RUN BABA RUN got bumped and crowded at the start, trailed under coaxing early, saved ground through the bend and improved position. SIX HOT GRANDS raced in range out wide early, chased five then six wide early on the turn, four deep at the quarter pole and weakened. STEVE'S BIG TICKET chased on the inside off the pace, went two then three wide on the turn, tipped out in the lane and lacked further response. BEAU BRUME bumped in the beginning, lacked early speed, trailed three then two wide on the turn and could not make an impact.
