Footnotes
QUEEN MAXIMA showed early speed then stalked inner rival into the turn, applied pressure two wide around the bend, dueled and took over into the lane, kicked clear in upper stretch and drew away under left handed urging and strong handling. ROYAL CHARTER (GB) tracked two wide into the turn, roused three wide across the dirt, finished determinedly down the lane but was no match for the winner while besting the rest. EGYPTIAN MAU (SAF) settled off the pace then moved into range on the inside, lacked room into the lane, then gained third once gaining a clear path. SHUANGXI (IRE) stumbled slightly leaving the gate, fought for the lead with QUEEN MAXIMA for a bit before taking full control, got pressured by that rival around the bend, dueled turning for home, yielded in upper stretch and flattened to fourth. KITTY KITANA (GB) traveled near the back then trailed inside a rival in the four path entering the turn, moved to the three path around the bend and failed to menace. NORMANDY QUEEN rated outside rivals early, bid three deep on the turn, failed to keep up into the stretch and weakened in the final furlong. REAL FIRE hopped at the start, chased five wide outside a rival into the turn at the back, gained four deep around the bend but flattened out in the stretch run.
