NENE DIAMOND set the pace under pressure from BIG POP to the outside, cleared that rival on the turn, asked right handed in upper stretch and held safely over NO CAP through the final furlong. NO CAP stalked from inside, paused behind the leader at the five-sixteenths pole, tipped out and brushed BIG POP entering the lane, took aim NENE DIAMOND down the stretch and finished gamely but had to settle for second best. BIG POP forced the pace from outside, lost touch with the leader around the bend but remained close in the two path, got brushed by NO CAP angling out into the lane and kept on for a clear third. QUICK KATE chased outside NO CAP then moved out into the clear early, took the turn three wide and weakened down the stretch.
