FOWLER BLUE reserved in the two path, drew closer three deep on the backstretch, chased three then four wide on the far turn, rallied under right handed encouragement and overhauled the runner-up late. INVESTALOT dueled from outside then cleared inner rival approaching the clubhouse turn, moved to the inside quickly on the bend, opened up a large lead in the middle stages, carried a diminished lead through the far turn, led clear into deep stretch, then came out to bother BRAZENLY late while being overtaken by FOWLER BLUE late. BRAZENLY traveled three to two wide off the pace, moved into striking distance between rivals on the backstretch, chased two wide into the lane, finished willingly to gain slowly on the leader and got put in tight between the top pair late halting all momentum. COUSIN RICHIE trailed from the fence to the far turn, angled five wide on the second bend, summoned a mild rally and rounded out the superfecta. BLAME THE CLASSIC broke in and bumped rival, settled two wide then along the rail, got shuffled back a bit at the nine-sixteenths pole, chased between in the two path on the far turn, tipped out but got hemmed in by FOWLER BLUE in upper stretch, angled in and kept trying but lacked the needed response. BIG GEORGE traveled on the inside near the back, saved ground to the stretch, tipped off the fence and put to right handed urging but needed to find more late. MOOGIE SON unhurried three deep in the early going, gained outside rivals on the backstretch, continued three deep through the far turn but flattened down the lane. ANDTHEOMOFTHEBRAVE got bumped from outside leaving the gate, sprinted to the front pulled while dueling from inside, ceded command approaching the clubhouse turn, dropped back early on the backstretch, gained ground and chased within range on the inside into the far turn, continued on the fence to the stretch and tired in the furlong grounds. THE RIDER ABOARD BRAZENLY LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST INVESTALOT FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE LATE IN THE RACE. IN A UNANIMOUS DECISION, THE STEWARDS RULED THAT ALTHOUGH INVESTALOT DID COME OUT AND BOTHER BRAZENLY LATE, THE INCIDENT DID NOT WARRANT A DISQUALIFICATION.
