SUPA SPEED brushed the gate then settled outside a rival off the pace, drew closer in the middle stages, took aim three wide around the turn, bid three deep turning for home, seized command in upper stretch and held over RESOLVE in deep stretch. RESOLVE broke out and brushed, trailed along the inside early, went outside a rival near the seven-sixteenths pole, was on the move but got boxed in from the five-sixteenths pole to the quarter pole, chased two wide into the lane, rallied gamely in the lane but had to settle for second best. SCHILFLIED bobbled to the front leaving the gate then ceded command to AMORITA, tracked along the inside out of range, drew closer up the backstretch, bid two wide past the quarter pole, led briefly in upper stretch but was quickly overtaken by SUPA SPEED and was no match for the top pair late. AMORITA sprinted clear from outside, pulled while starting to open up on the clubhouse turn, carried a large lead up the backstretch, held a diminished lead into the far turn, challenged from outside past the quarter pole, relinquished the lead and lost the crop in upper stretch and weakened in the furlong grounds. MAGALE brushed leaving the gate, reserved along the inside, moved into striking distance on the fence on the far turn, then faded in the drive.
