MAYSAM chased for a bit then moved up to press the pace between rivals, took over with three furlongs remaining, cleared past the five-sixteenths pole, then drew off under right handed urging and steady handling. SURF SONG raced up close five then four deep to the turn, took aim three wide turning for home, could not threaten the winner in the final furlong but stayed on to secure second. MAD PURSUIT raced up close three deep between rivals, continued between rivals while moving into the two path on the turn, found the rail approaching the stretch, churned on from the fence and finished a clear third. DELIGHTFUL LAURA was off slow from outside, trailed up the backstretch, went three wide into the turn, got floated out by CAUSE I'M PERFECT and came five wide into the stretch and failed to menace. CAUSE I'M PERFECT raced up close four deep between rivals, got put in tight at the nine-sixteenths pole, angled in and chased two wide into the turn, raced four wide leaving the bend and had little left for the stretch run. FROG away quickly to clear then took pressure from outer rivals up the backstretch, lost command near the three-eighths pole, yielded to the winner past the five-sixteenths marker and tired down the lane.
