Footnotes
BILLY JOE SHAVER pressed the pace three deep between rivals, chased past the half-mile pole, angled out and re-bid four deep at the quarter pole, dueled outside ARTIST POINT into the lane, took over at the top of the stretch, put that rival away shortly after, led clear into the final sixteenth and held over the late charge from outer rivals. IGNATOWSKI chased from off the pace and moved inside, saved ground from the rail then swung out late on the turn, closed in from outside and challenged three deep approaching the wire but ran out of time. ARROMAX raced off the pace well off the inside, gained four wide through the turn, moved into striking distance in upper stretch, bid between late and missed. SILVER N BLACK got crowded and checked between rivals early, gained two then three wide around the bend but finished evenly in the late stages. ARTIST POINT pressed the pace four then three deep to the turn, took over at the five-sixteenths pole, put away inner rivals but had to contend with BILLY JOE SHAVER from outside late on the turn, relinquished the lead and yielded in upper stretch, weakened in the late stages, bled following the race and was transported off the track via equine ambulance. NOBEL GARY stumbled badly and almost lost the rider who was able to regain his balance and footing, climbed at the back and angled out wide, traveled three to four wide around the bend, moved out in the lane and passed tired rivals. AUDIBLE SILENCE settled off the top quartet, made progress along the inside then two wide on the turn, tipped out in the lane but weakened down the lane. TRUEHOOD dueled from inside, yielded to outer rivals past the quarter pole, tired and eased in the lane and walked off. MR. MUSTACHE dueled between rivals up the backstretch, fought in the two path through the turn with rivals on both sides, failed to keep up entering the lane, tired and eased in the stretch and walked off.
