ASHLEYS SANDCASTLE raced off the pace on the inside, drew closer leaving the backstretch in the two path, gained while angling out on the far turn and loomed five wide turning for home, took over in upper stretch and held gamely over ULTIMATE HY in deep stretch. ULTIMATE HY stalked from inside, roused while tipping out to the three path at the quarter pole, challenged between rivals in upper stretch and got outkicked by the winner. QUANTUM INNERGY traveled along the inside towards the back, drew closer on the backstretch, lacked room behind rivals at the five-sixteenths pole, moved back inside, rallied along the fence and finished a game third. NANCI GRIFFITH set the pace from the fence inside a rival, resisted to the top of the lane, lost command in upper stretch and weakened between rivals in deep stretch. LOVE OUR FAMILY traveled three then two wide on the first turn, chased two then three wide on the second bend, angled out and improved position. GLACIER RIM traveled in the two path off the pace, saved ground through the far turn and never threatened. SASSY PRANCELOT stalked in the two path outside a rival, chased four wide leaving the far turn, bid four deep between rivals in upper stretch and flattened out. DANZINGWITH MAXINE pressed the pace from outside, fought between foes in upper stretch and weakened. DORINE'S WILD CAT trailed along the inside, continued at the back while a bit off the rail leaving the far turn, tipped out in the lane and was never a factor.
