Footnotes
POSITIVITY tracked off the rail then moved inside, saved ground through the turn, lacked room in upper stretch, found room in the final furlong, rallied inside the top pair and got up in the shadow of the wire. TESSUTO stalked the top pair from the rail into the turn, shifted to the two path around the bend, lacked room entering the lane, bid inside DOTHRAKI at the eighth pole, battled in deep stretch and just missed. MARCH OF TIME stalked three deep in the early going, took aim four wide leaving the bend, overtook DOTHRAKI midstretch, led into final moments and got edged by the top pair near the wire. GEEZER stalked off the inside, chased two then three wide on the turn, bid between rivals in upper stretch but faltered in the late stages. MISSION BEACH lacked early quickness, chased four wide into the turn, moved into the three path around the bend, angled five wide approaching the stretch and summoned a mild rally. DOTHRAKI prompted the pace from outside, took over past the quarter pole, clung to a narrow lead at the eighth pole, relinquished the lead shortly after and weakened. CODE DUELLO set the tone early with DOTHRAKI to the outside, headed by that rival at the five-sixteenths pole, lost command late on the turn and weakened along the fence in the furlong grounds.
