EL POTENTE was closest in pursuit from the two path, challenged outside AIR FORCE RED with three furlongs remaining, seized command and kicked clear in upper stretch, drew away under left handed urging while drifting over to the rail and remained well clear to the wire. SEAL TEAM (GB) broke through the gate, brought back around and reloaded, tucked inside at the back, saved ground to the stretch, rallied to gain the place honors but could no threaten the winner. AIR FORCE RED showed the way clear on the inside, took pressure from EL POTENTE at the three-eighths pole, maintained a short lead through the far turn, succumbed to the pressure in upper stretch, weakened in the late stages but managed to save third. ZIO JO tracked along the inside, moved into the two path late on the far turn, moved out in the drive, asked left handed through the lane and improved position. CABO SPIRIT stalked the pacesetter from inside, roused entering the lane and flattened out in the furlong grounds. ASTRONOMER stalked between rivals in the two path on the turn and weakened in the stretch run. LAMMAS (GB) got crowded between rivals early and dropped off the pace, traveled in the two path, spun three wide off the far turn, moved out in the drive but failed to menace. WIZARD OF WESTWOOD broke a step slow, unhurried after and traveled three wide through the first turn, stayed off the rail up the backstretch, ridden along three deep on the far turn, trailed two wide into the stretch and never made an impact. PACKS A WAHLOP stalked three deep around both turns and faded down the lane.
