CHEEKIEST saved ground near the back, continued on the inside around the far turn, tipped out in upper stretch, split foes at the eighth pole, rallied in tandem with MS BRIGHTSIDE (IRE) and got up at the wire. MS BRIGHTSIDE (IRE) settled in mid-pack on the fence, drew closer in the middle stages, moved into the two path late on the bend, tipped widest at the top of the lane, rallied alongside CHEEKIEST and got outclosed by that rival in a narrow last. FREE AND HUMBLE stepped to the front and moved inside, took pressure from KATERINI past the half-mile pole, maintained command through the far turn, shook free in upper stretch, led clear into the final sixteenth and got run down by the top pair in the closing moments. BIG CELEBRATION stalked the speed from inside, raced up close into the far turn, cut the corner into the lane, moved out a bit in the drive and finished evenly. STARTS NOW tracked inside then moved into the two path around the first turn, got squeezed and checked between rivals at the half-mile pole, remained two wide to the second bend, spun three wide into the stretch, stayed within range in the final furlong but could not produce a bid. KATERINI stumbled badly leaving the gate, settled in the two then three path, rushed up to challenge from outside at the midway point, kept the pressure on through the far turn, lost touch with the leader in upper stretch and weakened between rivals. STRANGE ADDICTION trailed on the inside then two wide into stretch and was never a factor.
