SEA SINGER (IRE) broke a step slow when tossing his head leaving the gate, unhurried after and moved inside, trailed into the far turn, exited that bend in the two path, angled out in upper stretch, closed fast and passed SARWAR (FR) in the closing moments. SARWAR (FR) stalked inside, crept closer on the backstretch, waited behind the leader on the far turn, roused leaving the bend, challenged from the fence at the top of the lane, took over past the eighth pole, cleared briefly in the final sixteenth but got caught by the winner near the wire. CATHAL (IRE) settled inside then in the two path, drew closer from the rail on the far turn, chased within range at the top of the stretch, exchanged bumps with ESCAPE ARTIST and lacked room behind the leaders in upper stretch, moved inward and kept on to gain the show honors. RED CROSS KNIGHT had good early speed and set the pace from inside, met the bid from outer rival at the half-mile pole, pushed on around the second bend maintaining command, clung to a narrow lead at the eighth pole, lost command shortly after and yielded in the final sixteenth. ESCAPE ARTIST moved inside racing in the middle of the pack, drew closer along the rail then two wide on the far turn, bumped three times with CATHAL (IRE) in upper stretch and finished evenly late. LIVING LIFE broke slow from inside, trailed outside a rival early, advanced in the middle stages, rallied three deep on the far turn, fought to midstretch and flattened out. IRISH PROPHET stumbled leaving the gate, steadied along the rail when a bit rank into the first turn, chased two wide off the pace leaving the backstretch, angled out to the four path around that bend and lacked further response. MAN AMONG MEN tracked in the two path, chased between rivals then three deep on the far turn and weakened in the drive. FEARLESS SOLDIER broke out, forwardly placed three then two wide early, challenged from outside at the half-mile pole, fought to upper stretch and weakened.
