JUST DEAL stalked the top pair up the backstretch, moved off the rail to the three path around the bend, drew alongside TARGARYIS midstretch and drove past late. TARGARYIS dueled from inside, cleared around the turn, put to right handed urging in upper stretch, switched to the left hand while confronted by JUST DEAL and yielded grudgingly late. CODE BREAKER fractious in the gate, chased next to the fence out of range, raced in the two path briefly then came back to the fence, kept on down the lane and held third. CHASIN A DOLLAR got crowded between rivals shortly after the start and dropped back, chased five then four wide around the turn, chased outside a trio of rivals into the lane and offered a mild response to round out the superfecta. SOUTHERN TORNADO broke in a bit, lacked early speed, raced near the back off the inside, angled to the rail on the turn then came back out late on the bend and improved position down the lane while failing to threaten. PAX A PUNCH coaxed along early, chased two wide into the turn, found the rail around the bend and could not threaten in the stretch run. MUTT DILLIN dueled from outside up the backstretch, chased the leader past the five-sixteenths pole, entered the lane in the two path and weakened. EMPIRE WARRIOR chased off the pace four wide into the turn, angled into the two path, had to steady near the quarter pole, went two to three wide into the stretch and failed to menace. KERSTING COURT asked early racing at the back, rounded the bend two then three wide, moved out in the lane and passed tired rivals. SOUL MUSIC hard to load behind the gate, brushed the gate leaving, coaxed along three deep leaving the backstretch, chased two wide into the lane and weakened. TOPPERS AT SEASIDE brushed from outside at the start, chased out wide early, pushed on four then three wide around the bend, then had little left and was eased in the final furlong. WARREN'S C J broke in and brushed, raced in mid-pack off the inside, exited the backstretch in the five path, angled to the three path around the bend, tipped four wide into the lane and came up empty. HE'ZA TEN climbed early and dropped back on the inside, exited the bend in the two path and was never a factor.
