MOBE TOWN showed the way early inside rivals before clearing past the half-mile pole, saved ground through the turn, met the bid from ALMOST SNOW at the top the lane, battled head to head down the stretch and gamely prevailed. ALMOST SNOW tracked off the rail, took aim four then three wide around the turn, challenged at the top of the lane, dueled to the wire and just missed. PERFECT D sat off the pace well off the rail, went four wide into the turn, angled to the two path, tipped out into the stretch and gained third. SMARTY NOSE leaned back, tossed his head and came away slow, trailed two then three wide around the turn, angled out into the lane and improved position. RASSLER forwardly placed three deep, chased three then two wide on the turn and weakened. COULTHARD (IRE) chased from off the pace, went two wide into the turn then found the rail, lost a shoe entering the stretch and could not respond. SOUTHERN SLANG pressed between rivals then chased after the leader past the half-mile pole, raced two wide then along the fence on the turn and tired.
