Footnotes
SIMPLEXITY (IRE) got bumped on both sides at the start, raced up close inside the leader then stalked in hand, saved ground following behind NEON LIGHTS (IRE) through the far turn, bid between foes in upper stretch, put a head in front at the eighth pole and drove clear approaching the sixteenth pole. BALDORO stalked from inside, pulled early on the backstretch, raced two wide in pursuit on the second bend, tipped out and ran into traffic briefly at the top of the lane, got through and challenged into the final furlong but was outkicked by the winner and held second. RHYTHEM ON STAGE pulled then became rank early at the back, pulled while taking the first turn two then three wide, continued to fight the rider early on the backstretch, remained three wide through the far turn, tipped out in the lane and finished willingly but could not get by BALDORO for second. NEON LIGHTS (IRE) broke in and bumped, went up to take control outside a rival then cleared, took pressure from NAVY MAN past the half-mile pole, held a short advantage to the top of the stretch, relinquished the lead at the eighth pole and flattened to fourth. FIREMAN DAN broke out and bumped, unhurried after and moved inside, coaxed along with three furlongs left to run but had to pause when lacking room behind a rival approaching the five-sixteenths pole, remained inside to the stretch and kept trying while moving off the fence in deep stretch. HULA CANDY stalked three deep into the first turn then started to pull while moving to the four path, chased three wide around the far turn and weakened in the late stages. NAVY MAN got bumped on both sides at the start, stalked between then started to pull on the first turn, went up to challenge the leader from outside past the half-mile pole, fought to the eighth pole and weakened.
