RUNNING SUPER attended the pace three deep, bid leaving leaving the backstretch, took over at the three-eighths pole, cleared inner rival at the five-sixteenths marker, met the bid from FIRE BAN with a quarter mile remaining, turned that rival back in upper stretch and stayed clear to the line. FIRE BAN coaxed along in range off the rail, bid outside the leader in the three path at the quarter pole, lost touch with the leader in upper stretch but remained close through the final furlong and was clearly second best. BOLT ON THE ROCKS took control and set a pressured pace inside rivals early, was overtaken early on the turn, yielded to the winner approaching the five-sixteenths pole, chased along the fence into the lane and weakened but was able to secure third. PETITE ANGE tracked off the rail then steered to the inside, tipped three wide around the bend then came back to the two path turning for home and weakened. CARSON JEN pressed the leader from outside up the backstretch, dropped back on the turn and tired. DUE TO A TIMER MALFUNCTION THE FIRST FRACTION WAS HAND-TIMED.
